A residential project at Shorishabari, Jamalpur, designed and built in-house from first sketch to handover.
Grontogreho — literally ‘the library house’ — at Shorishabari, Jamalpur was built for a client who wanted the family’s book collection at the centre of the home. A big library sits on the ground floor beside the drawing and dining rooms.
The library is placed on the street side under a deep cantilevered roof, with full-height glazing. Four bedrooms, family living and a terrace occupy the 2,900 sft first floor. The cantilever was engineered as part of the frame from the first structural drawing.
Handed over complete. The project sits in the 1 – 3 crore band.
